BiteSized is a food delivery app focused on providing simple interface to user. It is a food delivery app that provides recommendations to the user based on the various user’s most ordered foods. The app consists from easy registration process to seamless experience of ordering food. The goal of the project is to provide the user best user journey experience while ordering food.

Problem Statement

Despite the popularity of food delivery apps, users face two major pain points:

  • Overwhelming discovery: Users struggle with lengthy menus and irrelevant options, making it hard to find dishes that match their cravings or dietary needs.

  • Complicated ordering: Multiple confusing steps, hard-to-navigate customization, and time-consuming checkouts create friction and frustration, sometimes leading users to abandon orders.

The goal of the user research was to identify pain points in the food delivery experience and uncover opportunities to enhance food discovery, decision-making, and the overall ordering process. I aimed to solve:

  • What challenges do users face when choosing a meal?

  • How does menu overload impact decision-making?

  • Do personalized recommendations improve the user experience?

  • What factors cause users to abandon an order?

  • Intuitive visual hierarchy using bold section headers, iconography, and spacing to support users with cognitive challenges or screen reader dependencies.
